The 2003 Congress will be a focused meeting, its theme being Heart Failure: Prevention, Control and Repair. The congress is organised by the SA Heart Association in collaboration with the Departments of Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery of the Universities of Stellenbosch and Cape Town, the Cardiac Arrhythmia Society of South Africa (CASSA), the Lipid Association of South Africa (LASSA) and the Paediatric Cardiac Society of SA.
